- Individual Retirement Accounts
Citizens offers
two different types of Individual Retirement Accounts – the
Traditional IRA and Roth IRA. We also accept rollovers from qualified
retirement plans. Interest is tax deferred on these accounts,
and contributions may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor
for more information. Your IRA can be invested in certificates
of deposit or a variable savings account. Click on "more

IRAs are insured
up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA),
an agency of the Federal Government. IRAs accounts are insured
separately from non retirement savings accounts.
